  • How does stump grinding work?

    We use a professional grinder with a high-speed cutting wheel to chip away layers of the stump, leaving behind wood chips and shavings. The process is repeated, digging into the ground to eliminate all of the stump and roots.

  • Do I have to have my tree stump removed?

    It’s not required but we recommend having your tree stump removed, especially if it’s a walkway intrusion or tripping hazard. Pests like termites and ants are also drawn to tree stumps and could create additional problems for you down the road.

  • Can I replant over the removed stump?

    Absolutely! Be sure to fill the hole with wood chips, compost, and/or soil. We recommend waiting several months to allow for decomposition and testing the soil pH before planting.

  • Should I just remove the stump myself?

    The equipment used for stump grinding is very powerful. It can be challenging and sometimes dangerous, so we recommend calling a professional for stump grinding services.
